The theme of the conference is ‘Creating successful and vibrant places – solutions, best practice and innovation for Urban, Suburban and Regional Mainstreets’, learning, networking and exchanging ideas on what makes these centres tick. They are complex multi-dimensional entities that deserve and require the attention of a diverse range of professionals, and carefully crafted partnership approaches to achieve success. The Conference features eight international and local keynote speakers, field trips and over 45 workshop presentations from Australian and New Zealand presenters.
The program begins Monday 19 March when delegates travel from Melbourne by chartered train to the City of Greater Geelong for a full day conference program. Geelong is Victoriaís second largest City and the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. This will be followed on 20-21 March at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground and a conference dinner at the iconic National Gallery of Victoria.
